Nothing special. Spring is finally here after a long, hard winter (I’m proper nesh these days) and I’ve just received a tonne of film this morning to shoot with. ‘Street photography’ is bloody hard, especially when you lose momentum, but I’m ready to dig myself back in. It’s almost a year now since I’ve given this work anywhere near enough attention. Time to channel my inner street urchin – if she still exists!
Seeing as wordpress have made it so much easier to post photographs, here is a selection from the last few weeks or so. Nothing great…if you can’t devote hour upon hour to street photography then you can’t expect much back. Cheers!
robin van persie was almost in this photo. too love struck to click.
oldham street
the start of something good?
the guy on the left was not there as i pre-visualised this one…
obligatory christmas markets visit. you try so hard to have fun, but it never happens.

i have an obsession with these coats. only ever seen them in england and canada. seem slightly more relevant in canada somehow…?
this man is always on that bench. always. must have 10 photographs of him.
42 Bus, Manchester. April 2012.
Over the last few months I’ve had to pass all my attention to the kind of photography that actually makes money/human baggage. It really shows in the films I’ve processed, which are completely void of focus. Metaphorically of course
I’ll post what I can here and there..and refer to my bookshelf for a new inspiration
